Dear Members and Colleagues,

We are pleased to present the inaugural issue of the World Forum on Forest Therapy (WFoFT) Newsletter.

WFoFT continues to grow as a global platform connecting science, policy, and practice in forest therapy, advancing nature-based approaches to health and well-being. Over the past year, we have strengthened international collaboration through research exchange, partnerships, and global dialogue.

This newsletter aims to share key updates, highlight members’ work, and support knowledge exchange across our global network. As we prepare for upcoming activities, including the 2026 Forum, we look forward to continued collaboration and engagement.

The 3rd World Forum on Forest Therapy 2026 (Oct 23–27) [click]

The 3rd World Forum on Forest Therapy will be held in the Republic of Korea from October 23 to 27, 2026, with main sessions in Cheongju and pre-events in Yeongju. The forum brings together global experts to share research, policy, and practice in forest therapy, including field-based experiences in Korea's natural environments. We look forward to welcoming you.

Pre-events (Oct 23–24) : Forest Therapy Festival in Yeongju
Pre-tour (Oct 25): A wellness-focused forest therapy experience
Main Academic Forum (Oct 26–27)
