This case study examines the use of the Evidence-Based Health Design in Landscape Architecture (EBHDL) process model in the design of a rooftop garden at a Danish social and healthcare school. Developed to support student health, wellbeing, and nature-based teaching, the project highlights how evidence-based and participatory design approaches can help structure complex institutional landscape projects. The study offers practical lessons on governance, stakeholder collaboration, site selection, procurement, and the integration of health design methods into established construction processes.
