Organizational Structure
WFoFT operates under a governance structure centered on the President, supported by the Board of Directors and the Secretariat. WFoFT functions as a global platform organization with a multi-layered governance framework that integrates international expertise with field-based implementation capacity.
The Board of Directors is composed of Registered Directors and Non-Registered Directors and is responsible for strategic decision-making encompassing forest therapy policy, research, education, and field practice.
The Secretariat serves as the core operational hub for international network coordination and project implementation, executing decisions made by the Board.
Supreme Decision-Making Body
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the organization and is composed of all members.
It deliberates and approves key matters, including amendments to the Articles of Association, appointment and dismissal of officers, and approval of business plans and budgets.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the principal decision-making body responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization and overseeing its operations to ensure public value and institutional integrity.
