This review proposes a four-stage framework for understanding how people respond to environmental stimuli in healthy landscapes, covering neural processing, physiological adjustment, behavioral expression, and subjective representation. By synthesizing emerging measurement technologies across these stages, the study offers a methodological foundation for assessing how therapeutic landscapes influence mental health and wellbeing. It also outlines future directions for precision nature-based interventions through multimodal measurement, affective variability analysis, and embodied big data modeling.
