This study proposes a framework for the development of forest climatic spa resorts and advances a more systematic approach to forest therapy tourism. By defining key attributes of forest tourism attractiveness through an attributive theory approach, it provides an evidence-based foundation for health-promoting and sustainable forest tourism initiatives. The findings offer valuable guidance for policymakers, tourism developers, and practitioners working at the intersection of forest environments, wellbeing, and therapeutic tourism.
